Dialogue, Readings and Assignments for Lexington High School's course
I was thinking about doing something with women and Islam, and how the religion is sometimes perceived as being discriminatory against them. Ps. I just saw the article you posted about the segregated proms, and that was actually one of the things I put in my toolbox. What a coincidence!
I was thinking of doing the Eugenics movement, since in Holocaust I learned about some of it and would like to expand on it.
And I'm in E Block just for anyone who doesn't recognize my name...
I think I'm going to focus on the murder of Michael Causer who was killed for being gay in Liverpool, England.

I think I would like to do diversity in europe (more specifically in france) and compare it to the diversity in the United States.
are we allowed to do the same topic as someone in another class?

I would like to do something related to sexual harassment. I want to focus in on the harassment of non-straight people. I also would like to find out some information about racial harassment.
It's a bit late, but here's what I had in mind after talking it out with Ms. R:I want to be studying how race is dealt with and percieved in Europe in conjunction with how immigration is handled.
I might do something about the Bakkey case, or the childrens crusade or a specific riot such as Watts
I want to focus on racially motivated or related sexual harassment. Maybe focusing on the case with the Knight's general manager?
